In the evening, if time and energy permit, you may enjoy a short orientation drive around nearby areas to witness India’s vibrant street life, illuminated markets, and the contrast between old traditions and modern living.

After breakfast at the hotel, you begin a full-day guided sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi, designed to help you understand India’s political, cultural, and historical roots before entering Rajasthan.
Your first stop is Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. From here, you can observe the daily life of Old Delhi — bustling markets, spice traders, and centuries-old lanes.
You then pass by the Red Fort (outside view), a UNESCO World Heritage Site that once housed Mughal emperors and later became a symbol of Indian independence.
Continue to Humayun’s Tomb, a masterpiece of Mughal architecture and the direct inspiration behind the Taj Mahal. The symmetry and garden layout explain how Mughal architecture evolved.
