Cancellation & Refund Policy

Getaway India understands that travel plans may change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be transparent and fair while considering third-party supplier rules.

  1. Cancellation by Customer
    Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email.

The following cancellation charges apply:

  • 30 days or more before departure: Only Service charges + supplier fees non-refundable
  • 15–29 days before departure: 50% of total package cost non-refundable
  • 7–14 days before departure: 75% of total package cost non-refundable
  • Less than 7 days before departure: 100% non-refundable
  1. Non-Refundable Services
    Certain services such as:
  • Flight tickets
  • Train tickets
  • Permits
  • Special hotel bookings
    may be non-refundable as per supplier policies.
  1. Cancellation by Getaway India
    In rare cases where we cancel a trip due to unavoidable circumstances, customers will be offered:
  • An alternative travel date or package
  • A refund after deducting non-recoverable costs
  1. No Show Policy
    No refunds will be provided for:
  • No-shows
  • Early departures
  • Unused services
  1. Refund Processing
  • Refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days
  • Refunds will be made to the original payment method
  1. Amendments
    Changes to bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
